Falling Autumn Leaves

(Overwhelming fallen leaves of Autumn)

A lonely exile

Strolling, wandering,

Watching Autumn leaves fall,

Feeling vaguely sad!

Oh! Autumn, Autumn!

Golden Autumn leaves falling.

Falling back to their roots.

As a wandered exile,

Where should I go?!

Pensively picking up fallen leaves,

Whispering softly:

"Beautiful leaves,

Splendid golden, bright red,

Floating with the wind,

Falling, covering all.

Adorning the glorious Autumn,

Enriching mother earth.

Nourishing new life,

Faithfully completing the circle"

For me, an exiled soul,

Far away from mother land,

Ever so far, far away.

Ever so long, long ago.

So distant from Spring,

So remote from Summer,

Now comes Autumn.

My Autumn!

Autumn?s gray hair,

Autumn?s pale lips,

Autumn?s blurred vision,

Autumn faded pink cheeks,

Autumn with overwhelming past!

Oh! Autumn, Autumn!

My soul is sobbing,

Longing for my homeland!

In my Autumn age,

Far away from my mother land,

Forsaken, lost!

Where is my beloved country!

Pensively dreaming,

Now, lying down here,

Season of drifting Autumn leaves

Yellow, Red, here and there.

Falling, falling. gently, lightly

Falling more, ever more!

Please! Cover me, bury.

This wandering exiled one.

Gently, and peacefully,

Under, deep under fallen leaves.

What a beautiful dream!

Farewell lovely Autumn!
