Introduction: Mountain Gate

Entrance to the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas: The Threefold Gate of Morality, Concentration and Wisdom.

The gate of three arches at the City's entrance was constructed in 1980 with golden-yellow tiles and red brick walls (later painted light yellow) as its hallmarks. The platform above the arches can serve as a podium for Dharma lectures. There is room for an audience of more than ten thousand people in the surrounding grass fields.
